This Top 40 Under 40 Leader is regarded as a senior contributor in the Bahamas' compliance and anti-money laundering space.
He is a governance, risk and compliance professional for more than 20 years with a record of leadership, innovation and mentorship. His career has been fortified by holding strategic positions at a TerraLex member law firm, a Wolfsburg Group member bank and a Big 4 accounting firm.
He is also a holder of the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (CAMS) and Certified Risk & Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) designations.
Lashanta Smith, SHRM-SCP
Lashanta Smith is a Human Resource Generalist with 10 years of strategic leadership and human resources experience, including work as an HR leader in the hospitality industry and a local NGO space. She is also a recipient of the inaugural Top 40 under 40 award.
Her expertise is in employee and labour relations, organizational development and talent management and she enjoys optimizing the organization's greatest resource: its employees.
Lashanta holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation and serves as President-elect for The Bahamas Society of Human Resources Management.
